  • Short Description This is my UK spec rallye (the unfortunate cousin of the euro beast). I've had this car for over four years and its now used primarily for motorsport!

  • Engine & Gearbox TU3 (Standard 1360cc iron-block), head skimmed running single Weber. 4-1 mani with heavy duty downpipe and custom back box, both silencers removed. XS gearbox used for closer ratios. GTI 1.9 rad with relocated header tank and manual fan adjustment.
  • Suspension & Steering Bilstein challenge (grp N) front struts (V36/0547) and rear dampers. 160lb springs standard height back and front. Rear axle taken from 205 1.6 auto. Xsara VTS rack with PAS and rose jointed TREs.
  • Brakes Goodridge front hoses, DS3000 pads, Red Dot Racing grooved discs & hydraulic handbrake conversion.
  • Wheels & Tyres 13" 106 Alloys with Yokohama A021-Rs (185/70/13)
    14" 106 Rallye S2's with Mohawks (175/55/14)
  • Bodywork & Exterior Euro-rallye arches, colour coded bumpers with red inserts, GTI indicators and side repeaters, french rallye style rear badge, auto-bonnet.
  • Interior & ICE Grey Carpet, OMP steel framed bucket seats, Deep-dished MOMO steering wheel & boss, manual fan, heater, spots and pump switch, engine start button, oil&water temp gages, oil pressure gage. Blue TRS 3-point harnesses.
  • Comments & Plans Was used as a tidy run-around before purchase, now used for Targa Rallys.
