  • Short Description White 1.9 GTi with a few relevant mods for rallying and club motorsport.

  • Engine & Gearbox Standard engine gearbox but with catch tank fitted, modified breather system, uprated servo hose and an enclosed cone filter system.
    Copper fuel lines fitted and run through cabin.
  • Suspension & Steering Bilstein front struts with uprated road springs fitted at normal ride height.
    Bilstein rear shocks fitted.
    Front upper strut brace fitted.
    Uprated front bottom arms with poly bushes.
  • Brakes Drilled and grooved Mintex discs all round. Mintex pads fitted.
    Stainless steel braided flexible hoses.
    Rear brake lines internal through cabin.
  • Wheels & Tyres 3 sets. 15" standard 1.9 GTi wheels, 14" GTi/CTi wheels and 15" steels. All fitted with whatever I can get for a good price. They don't last too long usually.
  • Bodywork & Exterior Rear wiper removed. All usual GTi trim fitted. Rally spots fitted. Mudflaps fitted to front. Extra reversing light fitted. Radio aerial removed.
    Sump guard and tank guard fitted.
  • Interior & ICE No radio, panel fitted in place for extra switches.
    6 point cage welded in with bolt in door bars and diagonal rear brace.
    Sparco seats (in date) and 6 point harnesses (in date). RMD steering wheel and boss fitted.
    Battery isolator switch fitted.
    Battery in rear and spare wheel internal.
    Rally trip and timer fitted.
    Internal navigator lights (LED) fitted in front and over door. LED tailgate light.
    Spare wheel harness. Rear power socket.
  • Comments & Plans Change the rear axle for a drum brake axle for a more efficient handbrake. Fit adjustable brake bias valve. Fit a sun strip as I had to take the sun visors off to fit the cage. Replace tailgate seal.
