What diameter is the max -min people have used on the crank pulley wheel ?

How have they attached them ?

Where have they got them from ?

Any other tips appreciated.

Why not just use the standard Motronic trigger?

5.75"

Open up the hole (about another 1mm) so the crank bolt goes through.

Use plenty of Loctite under the bolt head and on the thread and do it up tight and a half when you've got the alignment correct.

Mine never moved in a year's road rallying....

I presume this is the ring gear fitted on the flywheel. I would need to find a suitable flywheel (I am on Jetronic) and as my bottom end / flywheel is lightened and balanced either get it redone or not bother with it anymore. I just see installing the 36-1 wheel on the crank pulley the easier (cheaper) option.

Did you turn down the spacer / washer by the 5mm the trigger wheel introduces ? I was thinking whether it would be possible to tap the centre washer on the crank pulley and use a grub screw to help fix the trigger wheel, any comments ?

Do you have any pics of your VR sensor mounted ?

Sort of - I made another one about half thickness and kept the original for when I removed it....

....which I did (sold the car)

....so no pics I'm afraid

It was a marvellous contraption of 1" angle mounted on the alternator bolts and the centre bolt that holds to cam belt cover on <_<
