Rear Beam Bearing Sizes - Need Confirmation

Recommended Posts

Zealot

I'm getting some phosphor bronze bearings made up for the rear beam in my 205 - they're very reasonably priced compared to OE Needle bearings (less than needle bearings actually).

However before I go off and spend my pennies I'd prefer to get confirmation on the sizes. I've done a search and the only one I've found is:

Outer bearing:

* Width 21.87mm (0.861 ins)

* Outer Diameter 53.17mm (2.093 ins)

* Beam shaft 47mm exactly.

The measurements I have for the inner bearing are:

OD = 49.0mm

ID = 42.0mm

Width = 21.9mm

From a friend of mine who measured his.

Are these measurements right or wrong?

My apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn't find anything using the search function.

Outer bearing sizes measured ages ago by Wurzel for me;

According to the vernier calipers:

Width 21.87mm (0.861 ins)

Diameter 53.17mm (2.093 ins)

I've just measured some new bearings (inner & outer) & a mint radius arm shaft I have, all of the sizes you have are the same as those.

Graham.
