Phase 1 Front Fog Light Switch How?

Recommended Posts

Blueeyes

How can I get my hands on a phase 1 front fog light switch?

I've messaged a few people on eBay of which the items have ended but yet to have a reply

I'm gonna try Peugeot tomorrow but I doubt they'll have anything. From the pictures I've seen the number appears to be 655227

I should have one tucked away. Most of the switches can be revived by cleaning the internals when the factory lube (like vaseline) turns to tar and cleaning the contacts.

It's probably not a good idea to let on how difficult it is to get any part..... supply and demand is driving 205 part prices now .

Lol yeah that's true but if you need a part then you need a part.

My 205 has never had the front fog switch I only recently realised they made a phase 1 front fog switch, if anyone wants to sell me one I'll gladly take it off their hands :)

if its a gti then you wont need one, as they are not fog lamps and it will not have wiring there for a switch.

No just using the standard spot lamps which are staying in the front lower valance, I'm not going to be driving around with them on I just need the option to have them on and thought rather than useing an aftermarket switch sticking out of the dashboard I'll use the oe switch for extra effort points
