I wanted to change the clutch cable on my TU24  Rallye

  • When I took it off I could see that it had a while plastic connection into the bulkhead that you turn to get off.
  • The replacement that I have (non-oe) just has a rubber grommet that is hard to get in the hold because it is slotted.
  • Any ideas if this is the wrong type?

Can this type still be used, or should I try to get one with this plastic connection?

Cheers

yes its the wrong type, its for a later pedal box with a round hole, you could modify the hole easily.
