After the throttle bodies. A fuel pressure regulator is basically a bleed off valve with a spring. When the fuel reaches a certain pressure the spring is overcome and starts to open the valve, returning the excess fuel back to the tank. This process then keeps the fuel at a constant pressure. Adjustable fuel regulators just put more pressure on the spring as you wind them up and thus holding the valve closed for longer- requiring more pressure to overcome the spring and open it.

Therefore, you need the regulator after your bodies, as you want the fuel pressure to the injectors to be regulated. Following the above advice will result in the world comming to an end.

Another clue is to look at a standard fuel rail ;)

So after a good week on the car i have achecived quite a bit!

  • brakes installed and bleed
  • wiring completed
  • ecu loom all wired in place
  • rear beam lowered again!
  • got the engine running!!

After getting it started, i found an air leek at the manifold, my air temp sensor has failed and now my crank sensor is failing!

a few more parts orderd, and hopefully a satchell manifold aswell!

Evening all

Had a very productive weekend , got her in paint and flat polished!

It took me and my painter 12 hours on Saturday and all day today and she looks fantastic!

im very happy with the finish, and the fact it has been done in a very old shed is unbelievable!

Now I just need to get the wings etc finished and we will be there! :D
