We have got it up and running!

Just a few small bits to do now so should be on the road in a couple of days.

I stripped and rebuilt the brakes and powder coated them red and they are huge in the 106 wheels

DSC00527.jpg

Also fitted some ebc discs and ferodo pads, new water hoses all round, new metal hose, lightened crank pully

DSC00529.jpg

Here it is on the deck, i will be taking it up a bit at the front but is fine at the mo

15062008303.jpg

Close up of the engine bay. The battery has a carbon box in the back so will be moved, and the cabling needs a little tidy up, bonnet needs a bit of frame taken out so it shuts.

On the test drive the bonnet was only on the catch so i was taking it very easy....There is no noises/knocks/bangs what so ever. Pulling away at the lights there is so much power i cant wait till the bonnet shuts

Did you dress in womens clothes at weekends??? You have identical posts on the 306 forum but you are a girl on there. That looks strangely like pug performance to me....... :)

Picked up the new engine yesterday.

Its a bit of a secret at the mo so heres a poor quality pic for you to look at

All i can say at the mo is its brand spanking new engine never been fitted to any car. Even all the plugs on the block are brass coloured :)

Will post more good pics as the build continues
