Some C5 steel-looking rims are aluminium? Wow, never would have thought it. There seems to be a mental amount of choice now for standard wheels that look great with no trims on.

It's been a while, but I thought I'd better give an update

 

I decided to sell up all of my Peugeot cars and parts a couple of years ago and managed to get £11k for my white rallye. With the funds I purchased a part built Mk Indy with an R1 engine fitted with sequential box. It took me a year to finish it and get it road registered. Here's a couple of pics

 

 

I have always had regrets selling my rallye and loosing my touring car engine and then I found out after 2years it was still sitting in the same garage I left it. I made a phone call and offered to buy it back. I had to give £500 more that what I sold it for but I was happy to have it home. The Mk Indy went up for sale and I got all my money back for that.

 

Next on the list was to find a 205 and luckily my best mate who's rallye I built for him needed to be sold. It's pretty clean and has lots of trick bits on already. The engine will be sold and my touring car engine will be fitted

I have also purchased a 3kg flywheel and racing clutch

Well the rallye has now been sold and replaced with a white 1.9 Gti with a custom cages full cage (its been on the forum a while I believe)

 

The paint job is not up to my standards so it will be going to the painters to have a few bits touched up

 

 

I've always wanted a set of 434's so they will be going on

 

The touring car engine will be fitted on my new omex 600. Everything will be going brand new

The Mk was not on the bay, there was another on there which was similar but mine was purchased abroad 90% complete and I finished it off and put it through its iva test
