Hi all,

I came across a number of incomplete lists of Pug paint codes, so I consolidated all I could find into one file.

It would be nice if you could contribute if you can see gaps or colours I have missed.

Thanks :)

This is very useful. However, a couple of questions.

a) where do I find the paint code, is it listed anywhere on the car?

:) Sorrento Green always confuses me as I've always called the colour of my STDT as Sorrento Green but the Gti's that are classed as Sorrento green are a totally different colour. My vehicle documents are in Scotland and I cannot recall if they say green or Sorrento green. Numerous webs sites class the green STDT as Sorrento. What do Peugeot say?

From what they say on http://peugeot.awardspace.com/ it's green oberon, but I can't find a match in my table.

You can usually find the car's colour code on top of the passenger's headlight, unless this part has been resprayed.
An example:

No idea about the colour on the Mi16's wheels.

I'll add arctic and moonstone as soon as you have the codes :P

I have received some more codes and updated the file:

Got it now!

I have a '91 cti in a red that is slightly "duskier" than the cherry. I've assumed from the specs on the main site that this is scarlet red, but the code is EKG 1V1

Maybe the 1V1 means a different shade of scarlet red? Some paint experts on here may be able to tell us?
My 1992 205's silver futura paint code is M0TP, and the shade is different from my previous GTI which was silver futura as well but from 1989.

That would come handy :D

Just been to my local Halfrauds paint mixing desk and their computer has a pretty long list of codes/colours with models and dates too! Now all I need to know is the English version of the names- all theirs are in French!
EKg= "rouge escarlette| but it's not listed for the 205

Are you just wanting 205 related colours, or all Peugeot ones?

I can let you have a full list if you want, but there's hundreds of them!

it would be better to keep it 205-related... but back it up with pics either way.

Hi guys, just a thought but it may be useful to some to have the years that 205's where available in each colour. for instance im two weeks away from having my shell fully resprayed but i cant yet find the colour red im looking for. my shell is 1989 cherry red,but the red i want is from the later phase 2 92 onwards.the bodyshop say there are just to many codes but no years listed which i found strange.so ive no garantee its going to be right.

the list is obviously a great idea and great work.but any ideas on years?
