Going for 300bhp and wondering if the standard injectors will cope?

Tried a search but couldn't find a definitive answer

Apparently Denso 2W93AA 's work from Jaguar XKR/S-Type/XK8/XJ8's - no personal experience of this, not sure what rate they put out but seem to be a clear improvement from the standard 8v 1.9's.

No, by far not.

They are 240cc/min. You'll need at least 440cc/min.

Rover MJY100460 are Rover T series turbo injectors 460cc @ 3bar fuel pressure. Used to be cheap as chips but maybe more expensive these days as they are probably getting scarce. Will fit directly where the Peugeot Bosch injector goes and plug straight in.

Yes, but be careful as there are a few different part numbers, all look very similar, but range from 180-460cc.

It's true, I've got a couple of sets of black Rover turbo injectors but they're MJY10023 which are 'only' 380cc.

Bosch green giants. 440cc at 3 bar. Highly praised in Saab circles, upto 350bhp on the Aero's.

The injectors are Bosch EV1 type; there are plenty of them an mostly start the with 0280150xxx and some 0280155xxx

Try to get some more modern injectors with 4 nozzles.

You could also get Bosch EV6 injectors with EV6 to EV1 adapters (check ebay).

Check if they are high impedance (14-16ohm) and not low impedance (~4 ohm) before using them.

Those are meant as a straight swap for standard 8v/16v 1.9s and are 212cc.

They're good for sorting out the lumpy low speed behaviour and throttle response.

For 300hp the Densos you want are from the Subaru STI, pink or blue.

I'm sure other options are available but STI ones are cheap and easy to source.
