so as says in the title how much is the usall expected cost of a crank regrind for a 4 cylinder crank.?

When I had my crank done a few years ago, it was sub AUD$250 to have it degreased, crack tested, 4 pins re-ground (-0.3mm) & linished.

if i was to look into special treatments for strenghtening is there any perticular one that is approved for the xu crank or any perticular one i should stay away from?

For race applications, I get them crack tested, nitrided and balanced. This takes the price to approx. AUS$700+. That's about as good as you can do for a cast crank.

im using the semi counterweighted densil crank they are forged i believe. quote me if im wrong.? !
