The yellow Rallyes were "Express Yellow" but the Junior was the same colour and same code but they were Solar Yellow according to the brochures

I'm surprised to see white so high actually. I've not seen many in white, I expected graphite or cherry red to come out on top.

I'm surprised white is so popular, as it wasn't a "popular" colour back then like it is now - however as far as cars in white from the 80s go, it does look very good with the black trim etc

 

May be a little biased but I think red (when it is red with black trim) is the definitive colour! Laser Green is nice but I'm not convinced the colour works on the 205, this was definitely an early/mid 90s trend colour.

I do like a good 'my colours better than your colour' thread. I'll stick my pennies worth in - Graphite Grey has to be the best....I've always lead myself to believe there were extra coats of lacquer involved.
