[Misc_Work] My New Ride - Goodwood With Lots Of Cylinders!

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Just agreed on this and paid for it and i can't quite contain my excitement about it. I'm in Australia for the winter and had planned to put a v6 into a 309 GTI when I get back when I stumbled on this little beauty couple days ago. It is actually Jaram's old car which can be found here;

Its changed since then as you can see, I'm not completely sold on the lights or sure of the legality of them either, exhaust will be replaced with a more standard custom item, some grey compomotive TH's might have to go on too :D I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Now I can't fricking wait to get back to the UK!

(idiot for spelling cylinders wrong in the title!)

I've had a passenger ride in this not long after it was built (by JERAM on here). Didn't know what was better, the power or the noise!

Sorry, I had to have it as soon as I saw it. I've wanted a goodwood for a while now, and one in the condition I couldn't pass up! It is horrible to think its going to be parked up for a few months no though!

I'm mega excited about it.

Wondering how long it would take for some one to offer!

Cheers Miles, well as you know I wanted to do this conversion, but when this popped up it made sense. Downpipes? - I'll be careful! I imagine it will be coming to you at some point for some upgrades too :ph34r:

Yer I'm lingering about for a while, actually down in Warwick at the moment. You wouldn't believe me if I told you what I was doing. Any way next week I move down closer to Sydney (well 3hrs North of) to lifeguards for the holidays on a rather lovely beach!

The exhaust manifolds are very restrictive on these, The front DP dangle's under the engine and even at std height is easy to scrap on the ground as the engine hang's done under the subframe

Yer I noticed the sub frame cutting, You reckon your exhaust boys could do a down pipe for it!?
