pablo 0 Posted February 12, 2010 doubt its a real car at all, more likely a couple of hoods waiting to meet you with baseball bats.

blue_haddock 2 Posted February 12, 2010 basically advertise the car cheap but only an email address for contact, you email them and they say the car is currently in europe however if you pay them they will ship the car to wherever you want. The mug then decides to buy the car and they discuss payment arrangements to which the scammer suggests a payment service similar to paypal (escrow) and says he has used it before no problems. Mug pays money to this service and then never hears anything more again from the scammer or the dodgy payment service. He also never receives the car. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/safety_and_sec...ow_services.jsp
Veero 1 Posted February 13, 2010 How much was it up for? There's always some mug out there prepared to be roped in. If there weren't these scammers wouldn't try.
