Did Cti's Originally Come In A 1.9?

Quick question as i dont know enough about them, but were cti's made with a 1.9 engine as well as a 1.6? I assume if they were, that they also came with the 1.9 rear beam? Take it they had a phase 2 interior as well.

Late CTi's came with a 105hp low-comp 1.9 engine, and yes, had Phase 2 black dash etc. I think they were drum braked though.

Yes suspension never changed

And suprisingly 1.6 engines were more powerful in CTI then the 1.9 ones

1.9 CTIs came with either Phase 2 or Phase 2.5 interior. Phase 2 red carpet, phase 2.5 grey and chequered doorcards.

 

All had drums in the UK (unless specially fitted with ABS which is very rare on a CTI). All had power hoods
