Arch Extensions

Recommended Posts

decoc182

Ive got some banded S1 Steelies on the way which are now 7.5J width. I need some arch extension for my car to allow the tuck under the body. The only problem is my body is non GTI (205 XR).

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these :-

Are they any good? How do you go about fitting them

Regards

I've bought those ones, and they're pretty good quality. Far better than the other 3 sets I've bought over the last couple of years.

I'm afraid you may have to cut the rear arches of a base model to fit the wide wheels though - especially if you've lowered it slightly. It's not as bad as it sounds, but still a bit of a pain.

Try here (towards the bottom)

How did you bond them on?? Did you use tigerseal to bond them, or did you drill and rivet them??

Thanks!

The rear arches in the pic are an older, different sort - they were attached with some self-drilling screws.

The latest set of arches I've got now (the ones you mention at the start of this thread), I plan stick on with Tigerseal.
