212046 Be1 Clutch Levers Intermediate Pin Dimensions

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Just tried Peugeot and this part, called a fork link on service box, is NFP and they have none in the network. I'm going to cut a piece of bar down to make one but I've no idea what the dimensions are as the clutch cable snapped and mine was lost. Can anyone help please as this would save me some messing about. Look sabout an inch long here:

Or does someone have one they'd sell me?

Thanks

Jim

It is about an inch or 30mm I would say. The dimensions aren't critical, after I had one fall out in a traffic jam I searched the car and used an old pen lid that I found, it worked perfectly and I was able to drive away before the traffic cleared.

I thought they were more like 50mm, quite critical to level angle on the quadrant. I'm sure I saw farmer say he had a load of these

If you want to pm me your address I can put it in an envelope and send it but would probably be quicker to make one if you're in a hurry

That's excellent. Many thanks chaps :-) Much appreciated.

Thanks for the very kind offer Steve but I've got some bar the right size so will cut it to length.

Cheers again all.

Drill a tiny hole through the rod and tether it to the gearbox with a piece of lockwire to save losing it again in future .Looking at the picture of your linkage I would say the cup into which the rod sits is bent back a bit from the forces involved , mine did the same thing when my clutch pedal got very heavy .

Top tip thanks :-)

It's not actually my car it's an image I pinched off the net just to illustrate what I was on about but I'll look out for that, thanks.

Find that hard to believe none in the network as I can see what is around on an email of the results and plenty around :P

Up to 9 potential UK sites show stock

I was told by the parts department of my local dealer in Brum that there were none in the network. Maybe he couldn't be arsed to look cos it's such low value and just made it up.

I've made one now anyway.

Is there a way to tell off service book if there's stock of parts?
