I have seen a pic of the spacers going on, but not one of the wheels on the car. I need to see what they look like as you have seriously got me thinking...

Have you the full specs of the spacers you had made too? They look deeper than 12mm and I assume the holes are threaded and can take a bolt / stud and you don't need to modify the hubs?

I also showed my wife the pics of your girlfriend/wife cleaning your CTI and said "if you really loved me you'd do the same for me." I got a cold stare back from her!! :'(

The spacers are 17mm and just to get you thinking even more.......

I bought myself a set of Compomotives and finally refurbished my SL434's. Changed the headlights, made a real bargain on original Valeo's, plus the windscreen viper and light swithes broke down so I had to change those to.

Time for a suspension upgrade which will take place after the winter. The car is tucked away in the garage for the winter.

Your car is better than porn!

Do you want to sell me the SL434's now that you have the Gutmann wheels? :P

Where did you get a bargain on the headlights, I am interested in a LHD set.

I got them from a guy from the polish 205 forum. Really satisfied with the BBS rims but the SL434's are a must to have so i have to keep them:)

Ok no updates for a while now but some steps have been made to complete this project. A buddy of mine was butchering one of his GTI's and i got a complete front suspension which was dismantled sandblasted and later on powdercoated. Whisbones refurbished in Poland where i also bought new parts for the suspension including new bearings. Found a nice set of Brambo's from a Clio III RS and a bigger MC, will probably be running these with 288mm discs.

Got all new parts for the front suspension and new rear clusters for the Cti. Full set of lights for my other humble project 205 Griffe but more on that one later on. Car delivered to Prowork near Wroclaw for engine swap etc.

Looks amazing. Are you going to be using the Dimma splitrim alloys when the new engine is fitted? Or keeping the bbs? Both are nice wheels ;)

The Dimmas are far to wide i'm afraid so will be keeping those for a hopefully future Dimma project. Just to give you an idea of what i mean a couple of pictures of my Griffe. These are both front rims.

They do look a tad to wide. haha. Fingers crossed for your future Dimma project. If you ever want to sell them. drop me a PM as i'll be after a set soon as restoring my own dimma. but it's missing the split rims. :(
