Bubbling Noise In Expansion Bottle

when the car is driving along after 10 mins my expansion bottle starts to bubble the water in it and when i shut off the engine it stop almost instantly what could the prob be????

water pump???

Sounds like headgasket, well that's what my bike did when it happened.

i just got the bubbling to stop as you said air in the system but i am getting to much back pressure

i am getting oil in the carb from the hose that comes from the tappet cover in to the carb

had to disconnect it from there and use a bottle to catch any oil vapours :S

Still sounds like a HG, does it do this from cold? IF so then it isn't boiling anywhere which makes it likely to be the piston pumping air into the water vai a bust gasket.

 

Garages I think have a tool to test for exhaust fumes in the water, this would tell you for sure.
