Hi everyone!

A car that i bought in 2007 in Poland during my medical studies. It is a CTI from 1992, with a electric roof. I fell in love with it immediately and just had to have it. This one turned out to be a little project.

After coming to my senses I got some original valances back on the car also ended up changing the boot lid as the old one had a nasty dent. I managed to come by a set old SL434 from a friend so now the car needed a new paint job to look mint.

Well initially i thought that the level here was to hight so i did not want to start a thread about this car, but is it really? Are the projects in Poland so far behind? We have a couple off really nice 205's so it's really a shame that most off the guy's from our polish forum just read the gtidrivers forum insted of showing their projects. With some persuation from cybernck i decided to unveil this humble project hoping others will follow.

Back to the Cti, next stop was the bodyshop.

Little :) ? That will be another T16 inside CTI. I always find that bit crazy to stick such a powerplant into CTI.

Pah! CTI's are the future! I love the way the best ones are always Atlantic Blue too and have a turbo in them!!

If you debate what the wheel would look like Goodwood style then here is a pic for you

Personally I think I prefer them silver like yours

The Dimma panel is a rare find. Is it original or a copy someone has made?

There was a Dutch Atlantic CTI owned by Martjn which had a 309 front bumper and was turbo'd

Please keep us updated :)

You are so right Henry Cti's are the way to go and i say that after owning a Gti for over 10 years, don't get me wrong Gti's are fantastic in everway but nothing beats driving topless! The Dimma panel is a copy indeed made by a guy here in Sweden. I like the coniguration of your SL's but i get the feeling that they somehow "disappear" when painted in darker colours. My set should be refurbished by now just have to collect them i kept the silver and the polished lip.

Little photosession after collecting her from the paintshop

After the summer it was time to take a step back and just enjoy the car but i managed to throw in a pair o driving lights and change the intake manifold as the old one had a nasty crack before the season ending.

As if coming by a set of Compomotive's was not enough a dream i've had for 10 years was about to come true. A T16 engine came up for sale in Sweden from a good source and guess what i bought it:) It has done about 140.000km and was taken out of the car about 10 years ago.

Just threw it in the trunk of the 405T16:)

The Dimma rims will end up on a Polish Griffe T16. I on the other hand went for the BBS RS for this project. The plan for the summer this year was to overhaul the Rs rims , change the top to a Sonnenland and some minor paintjobs, badges, door handles, mirrors, b-pillar and "new" sideskirts.

Had to do some work on the sideskirts to make them compatible with the Cti

I love the BBS's. I've seen a CTI with them on before and they look good. Are they the right offset or are you going to adjust the dishes or run spacers? I'd have some for mine but they are pretty rare and expensive in the UK

I am assuming you got the Equiss Auto side skirts after you had all the paintwork done?

@Henri I had spacers made up for them, turned out to be quit an expensive story but i had no choice really since ET is 24 and i want to fit 4pot Brembo's as soon as the T16 engine wil be fitted.

ET24 is an odd size, unless they were done for a 405 or a newer model like a 206 / 307. Are they 16"?

These are 16"x7 BBS RS 008 5x112. The sideskirts were painted this summer actually. The one's on Wesly's CTI are 15" but i wanted a bigger size so this made matters much more difficult. I came by these in Sweden for a reasonable price but as you said they are expensive in fact you can by a decent 205GTI for that kind of money.

Ahhh ok, you will have had to have made a 12mm spacer and had it drilled to 5x112. Any pictures? Luckily it is the new VAG wheel stud pattern so that explains why you could get them 4x108 in BBS is really rare
