[project] 205 4x4 Mi16/gti6 Conversion

hi ,i have just joined the forum and thought i`d share my 4 year project with everybody. i have built a 4x4 205 using 405 4x4 runnig gear, the engine is an all steel internals, mi16 1.9 alloy block with a gti6 head ,48 jenvys,cat cams . The spec list is endless ,power figures are between 250-270bhp at 9200rpm.

what are you going to use the caar for?

hi, i will put more pics on asap as the car is now fully road legal and nearly finished.

The car is going to be used for track days , but i built it because everybody i spoke to said this conversion was not possible using the 405 4x4 system, well trust me you can do it with some hard graft.

I`ve already done some four wheel drifting and give the drive train some stick,it so far seems to be holding up.

I wont know until i get the engine fully mapped, so i can test it properly.

good to see someone else spending lots of money and taking many years to complete as I get serious abuse for it lol

Have to say it is absolutely stunning in the build pictures. What sort of state is it in? Is it near completion?
