I cant believe I missed this thread completely considering we have been speaking about parts on and off for a while.

Looks excellent, did the door trim I sent you a few weeks back fit satisfactory and look ok etc?

I haven't actually got round to fitting it yet Craig - I've had quite a bit on since it arrived! But it looks just the job, thanks again for sourcing.

Car went for alignment on a Hunter at McEwan's Garage in Derby today. I asked for neutral toe based on some stuff I'd read on here, sooo that's what I got. Here's the before and after print out, with the Haynes values written down the side:

Anyway, I've just got back from its first 'blast' since its all been back together and I'm still buzzing - loved it.

First impressions are that it's a pretty exciting place to be!

  • The 1600 flywheel seems to have made quite a distinct difference, pick up is frantic...everywhere.
  • The engine always felt pretty strong but it feels great now throughout the range.
  • Ride is almost certainly firmer than it was but it's not uncomfortable or crashy for it, feels about right.
  • Benefits of the Quaife could be felt getting out of corners.
  • Brakes feel nice and progressive with plenty of power when you need it.

Overall, I'm well chuffed.
