Pts 1600 Grp A Anti Roll Bar Link Mounts Drawings

Recommended Posts

And

Hi, so after getting new front dampers they no longer have the anti roll bar drop link mounts on them so I am looking to make copies of the original PTS 1600 Grp A ones that used the pinch bolt of the hub nukel and shortened links, so if possible would any of you lovely people have any technical drawings of them compete with measurements etc all I have i the picture from the build manual witch is a bit hard to go off, if you do it would be a fantastic help..

surely far simpler and just as effective to weld a square tab with a hole to the side of the strut body and use standard droplinks?

Since fitting fully adjustable front arms I haven't run an ARB. I don't miss it at all. I've gone up on the spring rates and there is far less wheel spin exiting tight corners.

they are reigers so welding is not a option, I ran them yesterday on the Malcolm Wilson Rally but didn't have the anti roll bar on as I don't run it on gravel it's just not sure I can get away with out it on tarmac or not, but they supplied me with 25-370 gravel springs and 35-??? Tarmac can't remember the lengths but guess with the helpers etc they supplied its same length as the gravel, I do have a bit of time to play around now though, but they didn't turn up till Friday afternoon.. but would like to try the PTS link bracket route first.

KRS competition in France sell the kit. If you go to there web site they have a photo of the parts, you should be able to work out the dimensions from the pics. Basically they use shortened drop links and use a special clamping bolt for the strut to upright incorporating a mount for the drop link. ( I cant paste the link, but have typed it out below )
