306 Beam On A 205 (Difference/interchangable)

What is the difference between the 306 and 205 rear beams?

 

• Is it a wider track?
• Are they interchangeable?
• Any other issues?

 

If I remember correctly the 309 was wider and people used to use on their 205's

Mounts and width (Wider track), yes people did fit the 309 beam for some unknown reason as it makes the car understeer, sure google will bring up the exact width.
