Big Brake Master Cylinder

Recommended Posts

Caddyshack

I have used a normal Gti brake servo on my car (4x4 205 Pug Cosworth) and this has Cosworth calipers all round. I used a non ABS 406 master cylinder but I have a long pedal on it...I am sure Miles posted up a fix for when using this master cylinder but cannot find it.

Any thoughts on how to get a shorter pedal...it is all adjusted as much as I can.

ALSO, I think I am right in saying that the servo does not affect the pedal travel at all?

Thanks

I think the fix you're looking for could be to adjust the end of the push-rod of the servo.

I can remember reading posts about this a while ago.

You haven't accidentally put washers between the servo & master cylinder have you?
