[car_overhaul] My 205 - My Life!

Hi, I am Boris from Bulgaria(Sofia) and from 2 years i have a 205 GTI 1.6 87.I realy love this car and I'll do anything to be like a normal stock GTi.At first it's look like this

...first that i make is to lower the rear beam.The front springs are -30mm lower

Thanks;) Yes, here is verry difficult to bring it second life but this car is verry special for me. I want to be on one of yours meeting one day I hope:)

Looks like it's rusting in the same places as mine although much worse, well done for doing such a good job of it.

I guess the best meet for you to go to if your serious would be the annual Nurburgring (sp) trip.

The all process take me two months.My aim was to do things profesionall,but here (in BG) this can't happen quick.

Now I rebuild the 1.6 motor.Back to 80's :rolleyes: When I finish it I'll get a videos for all of you.

That's fantastic, I didn't realise you'd already finished :rolleyes: Any plans to get a set of original alloys for it, I noticed it had a mismatched set to start with?

Just realised it's a 1.6 so it needs a set of 14" 'pepper pots' which you should be able to get dirt cheap on uk ebay if anyone can export for a decent price.

The black stuff is something like(on BG is sukobit) resin,(mineral) pitch-bitumen... something like that .I don't know what is the exactly word.sorry:)
