yes...lose the tachymetric relay....this is all integrated in the big multirelay (which in fact contains 2 relays: injection and fuelpump).

Oki oki. But remember I have an -87....but my tachymetric relay is gone right now so I suppose I woulnd not have to find it.

Does someone have more schematic´s, cause I have still some cables I cant idenify in the turbo loom....

As Hilgie stated before cable numbers dont exist on the diagrams, sorry.

You will only really need to find the ones that have been posted on here

as Live,Switch live,fuel pump etc etc ...

If they come out of the brownmulti-plug you should be able to identify them with multi-meter and the diags i posted above,as by process of elimination.

I would just concentrate on the main wires to get the engine started to be honest, and the rest leave till later,or when you might need them

oki oki...now I´m will try to tell you about my day in the garage.

Had a friend with me today. He have some skills with the multimeter so the day started up good! Connected and work with the cables witch were abvios to connected.

The alternator, starter solenoid, fuseboxes, maxifuse, put all together very nice(the boxes mounted) and so on.

well....The problem.....

- The starter motor is running.

- got 12+ on device 1304, pin 15, 14, 11, 8....

- Got SL+ on pin 3 (wire 2 on 205 - right?)

- Fuelpump connected pin 9 (wire in connector - 120A, mounted it over a fuse 10amp)

When hitting the ponit before puching startermotor into work at the key, right before, the fuelpump should be going on? right? well it dosent to it....

The fuelpump will not go together with starterotor either.

We checked and bypassed 12+ right into the fuelpump and it works fine, but dosent work with the connections.

Pin 3 on device 1304 has a wire number 8220. 8220 is directly connected to ECU on a double plint with cable 822. Cable 822 you will also find at the brown and grey connectors. ANyway. to Put pin 3 SL+ we cennected wire 822 to wire 2 on the 205......RIGHT?

The problem is that one of the relay in the device 1304 dosent close itself so that the fuelpump and? igition will turn on. The output pin 10, cablenumder 1236. is connected directly to ECU, and this cable must be earth if the relay should do its work. This cable dousnt earth it self so, the Q is why not?

here we are stuck with our pants down....:(

The mechanic that put the engine in the car before I bought the project said it woulnd have a anti key lock....so I really hope so it aint this f***er that f***s me....:D

Pleeeeease....!!! :ph34r::(

And how about pin 2 on device 1304....? cc10 cablenumber. it comes från bridgeblock and from starter-key....12+ SL eller 12+ constant?

check pin 2 on the double injection relay, this should IIRC go to the inertia switch, the wire coming out the other side of inertia is a switched live wich needs connecting to S/L + on 205.

wire 2, SL+ from 205. I have only connected it to cable 8220,822 to put pin 3 active....right, wrong?

should it be attached to someting else?

What do the cable 820, between anti key lock, and ECu - do?

should that be put 12+ on it?

check pin 2 on the double injection relay, this should IIRC go to the inertia switch, the wire coming out the other side of inertia is a switched live wich needs connecting to S/L + on 205.

but the cable inertia switch i s connected to fuelpump over a 10amp fuse.

pin 2, double relay is cable cc10..should that also be connected to wire 2 from 205:an?

Confusing .Yes !!!....see this is were part of the confusion comes from.

Those diagrams may be slightly different to your actual loom, was on mine

wire 2 S/L+(205) connects to pin ** ECU (its on the pinouts i sent you) and ...^

(Pin 2 Relay to inertia switch ) ^......wire that comes out the other side wich goes through the brown multiplug

"Pin 2 essentially provides the live to the relay, which is activated

by the ecu grounding one of the other pins." quote-DrSeuss.

"and its like a using a switch to operate a switch"

This would make sense if your fuel pump is not running ,as above is the switch live to the fuel pump half of the relay.

When i first went to fire up my engine it also only turned on the starter motor, because i had forgot to connect pin 27 ECU to wire 2 on 205.

So im no big expert on this(disclaimer) but i made positive i had the correct wires to connect up before i started actually wiring them in.

You were very close indeed though Hope all this helps, its starting to confuse me......again aarggh

Cheers

Sam.

Hello

You are using the 406 turbo engine wiring right? How many wires needs be rewiring? What are im going to need to make my 306 2,0 8v to a 2,0 8v turbo? Im planing on taking the engine, wiring and ecu. But can´t my fuel pump delivere the fuel to the engine?

Wiring is just doing a very good amount of research. You will need the wiring diagrams and schematics of your 306 and the car that the engine came out. Fuel pump won't be a problem.

Oh and in a 306 you need to cut something from the bulkhead to clear the turbo.

well well, stop a minute now.

component 1304. How should it be now?

12 + : Pin 8, 11, 14, 15....?

Fuelpump cannected to pin 9...something more?

S/L+ to pin 3.....something more?

How about pin 2, also to S/L+ as pin 3?

Pin 27 on ECU: 2 cables 822, 8220, one of those goes to component 1304 pin 3, 822....822 goes then go multicontact, and this I need to connect to S/L if pin 3 on multirelay gonna have S/L on pin3....??

What if I am using a http://www.dp-engineering.nl/foto%27s/prod.../2Lturbo8v3.jpg exhaust manifol? Is there really more space in a 205 :)

How many wires needs be rewiring? What do´s I need from the donor car? Engine, wiring and ecu. I don´t have a donor car, a 406 turbo are costing about 6000£ or more in Denmark (180% reg tax :D )

This has all been discussed before,do a search :)..most of the wiring info is in this thread ;)

if possible get whole car,you will need ECU,engine loom, main harness and keypad immobiliser if it has one?

I may be going for the DP kit...not just yet though

£6000 !!!! :o
