Where To Get Service Items In A Hurry?

Recommended Posts

Braymond

Circumstance means I'm going to have to use the 205 as my daily next week. I'd ideally like to, if nothing, else change the oil before that, but my window of opportunity is tomorrow morning only.

Oil perhaps not such an issue, but where can I get the appropriate filter and a new sump washer (as it appears to be weaping at present) today?

Thanks!

ECP stock a sump washer with a 16mm ID and 22mm OD - will this fit?

They also carry filters from:

- Crossland

- FRAM

- BOSCH

- MANN

Any recommendations?

I ensure I change the oil filters on my cars very frequently. Coupled with low mileage means they might only do 1000 miles. Therefore I buy what is available and don't worry too much about it.

I keep a stock of oem oil filters as they're fairly generic now, bought in bulk on ebay for about £3.50 each (in 10's)

The sump plug is wither 16 or 14mm, I also have these in bulk as they are so much cheaper to buy a bag of 50 crush washers than individual washers.

Even from a dealer an oil filter isn't too expensive, often enough they'll give you a washer and they have deals on oil for older cars.

Don't forget citroen.

Purflux LS867B is the same one as the original PSA one. In case of other brands stick to Bosch, Mann or Mahle. (in no particular order). Fram is sh*te in my opinion.
