Hi,

i looking to replace my springs to the standard setup.

i have a friend that sells a set of springs which he claims they are the standard genuine springs.

the free length he messured is 325mm.

there is a little red and blue on the top of the springs (not sure if it the original markings or overspray)

325mm open is the one I've just measured, that's end face to end face.

325mm is probably correct, mine may have sagged. If the wire diameter and number of turns match up, then they will be GTi.

Think there's difference between 1.6 and 1.9 springs too .. dunno if It's the length or something else but remember 1.6 springs having red marking and 1.9 yellow .

1.9 non ac manual rack is two yellow, 330mm I recall, and 12.7mm thickness.

I didn't find a red and blue marked spring for a 205 or 309 on servicebox, they may be from a 106 or berlingo which may not be too far off, check the number of turns and the wire diameter.
