Thats a shame N3VRAM. I wonder what would have happened if I had ordered one before they changed the price, I was one click away from buying one but I didn't really have the funds. They probably would have just canceled the order.

Yep, same thing happened to me. Hit buy but no way to put in payment details. Then they contacted me with a new price....

 

Is this some sort of scam?

I don't think so, they probably haven't sold any in a while and had the item on stop so that they could get a cost price arranged... its a bit shoddy listing the incorrect price though.
