Map For An 8V Xu On Bodies, Dta S-Series Ecu

Recommended Posts

welshpug

Would anyone have something suitable to get myself and DCC started?

Both 1.9's, with Jenvey's.

Dan has an S60 ECU, 11 ish compression, Newman PH3 cam.

I have S40, standard 9.6 compression, PT36 cam.

Bring on the trumpets, and the joy of Bwarp.

Twiddle the fuelling until you get it idling well warm and then copy a rough guesstimate of the torque curve into the fuelling tables, plus a bit for safety, sorted, one rough map until you can get it done right.

ohhh , get some videos up once started Mei.

To be honest we started mine on a base map from the pre loaded maps in dtawin.

I think it may have been the vauxhall XE, we had to trim down the fuelling at idle to get it to run because of my injectors.

Yeah I noticed the 2.0 XE on taper bodies map, just wondered if anyone had something a bit closer :)

16v's are for pussys.

(fingers crossed the 8v I have doesn't blow up!)

Use the Zetec w/o MAP as base map, tweak the settings for trigger, sensors, fuel injectors.

Something like that should get you started!

At least that's the plan I have for my MI16 on bodies and S60.
