huckleberry 0 Posted December 22, 2006 307 brakes will fit under stdt 1.9 wheels unless you have a huge pile of those balancing things on the inside. Tim
rich_w 0 Posted December 22, 2006 (edited) I've had problems trying to get my wheels balanced (with the 180 setup which is no different to the 307 in size), you need to really find a place that either a ). has lead stick on weights (now longer can be sold to tyre places) or b ). has the proper 2 piece weights which are expensive (apparently). rich_w 0 Posted December 22, 2006 In the UK in my expirence tyre fitters like to put the weights on the inside and don't use the proper 2 piece weights, a firend of mine has no problem where he takes his car cos the place is run my a peugeot nut... Are your weights on the inside?
Craigb 2 Posted December 22, 2006 In the UK in my experience tyre fitters like to put the weights on the inside and don't use the proper 2 piece weights, a friend of mine has no problem where he takes his car cos the place is run my a Peugeot nut... Are your weights on the inside? Same with mine . if you ask for the correct weights , you can get them , some places do want to charge you more though . If you don't ask , they tend to put the stick on type on , which come off as soon as the wheel is turned
rich_w 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I don't get an option in cheltenham! Rang around loads of places with no luck had to take a chance on leaded stick on jobs. Which have been ok. Bam: are the weights in the middle of the wheel? I can't remember the clearance, you might be ok, not sure how high the uk leaded weights are.
