Had a blast at Abingdon today... only issue was car not being quick enough.. lol tyres might help a bit but untimately I couldnt keep with anything on straights but could in the bends..

excellent fun though

Sorry we didn't have a chat mate. I did pop over to your car a few times but you wasn't about.

Good day though! I too felt like I needed more power, but having said that, not much passed me all day. Even that stupidly quick elise couldn't pull much, although I did go for a passenger ride and it was quite easy to see why.....!

Yes everytime I saw your car parked up you werent about either.

Lol

I started picking up a bit of speed late afternoon when I got confident the car was sound. A few cars I could keep with and some definitely quicker on the bends but no chance on the straight.

But I feel I got my hand back in and I now know the circuit enough to take my other car there :)

Notice in my first pic you have a cocked rear wheel behind me :)

Good shot! I've had a look at the photo's on the day and I don't think there is one of me going round that corner with all four wheels on the tarmac!

It would have been nice if he had moved to multiple places, as the photos are a bit too similar.

Loving that you are both grinning from ear to ear in that shot.

Sprint at teeside kart track was lots of fun although would have been even better had the other cars in class been a bit slower lol.

Two gtr's a clio cup and a tvr cerbra.

roll cage bought

9F4E0C1D-36F0-4E12-8123-C62A59B9A634_zps

Plan is to fit the cage to the dark grey car, remove the engine and clean up the engine bay, fit bucket seats and harnesses and then remove the engine from the red car (gti6) and fit to the grey one..

the shell is much better and although panels have the odd dent, nothing too bad.. will get a dent guy to remove what he can and get some paint done at some point.

The grey one also has the spax suspension and 1.9 brakes front and back with goodridge hoses and handles and stops so much better.. not sure what to then do with the red one.. remove everything of use and scrap the shell or fit the 1.9 engine from the grey one and sell as a working car with mot and tax..

Still hoping to do 3 trackdays before christmas - Hullavington this Friday and then Snett and Oulton park but really would be best to have cage sorted so may have to pull my finger out..as snett is 12th december.

Here starts the project I guess....

Yeah - had it in my mind you were in Eastbourne - don't know why!!

Looking forward to getting it and my 205 back on the road/track.

May have to keep in contact and do a few together.
