Red Strip Moulding

I see that in europe they also came with the red strip around the mouldings of the car, I WANT THEM HAHA where can i get them new.

Someone please help me.

The red strips very very rare.

Some Mi16 from 1988 or 1989 have red strips.

 

It looks very good in red cars.

New not more available.

can't see or trust it on that car, as the protection strips are painted, maybe the chrome strips are painted as well :P

 

But if there are so rare, TS would probably be better off painting them himself :D

No, the strips are original red from Peugeot.

I get last year one set of this strips. ;) It´s complete red plastik.

But of course you can paint or sticker the chrom strips into red.

That's Baz's now deceased Mi16x4, have to ask him about that.

If it's the inserts in the MI16 mouldings you're talking about, most of them are still available according to Peugeots parts list. There are 4 different types. But sorry to say, they don't say which are "crome", blue, red or otherwise. As far as I can see, the ones that might be most difficult to get a hold of are the ones set into the mouldings on the front wings.

You can get D shaped rubber strips with a adhesive backing. I'll be using it to replace the trim strips i'm removing
