Choke Set Up On A Dellorto Carb

or do i just fabricate a little cable stop and then run a cable clamped to both chokes? or a twin cable? can you still buy the choke pull parts from peugeot to fit it to the standard place. will this hold the cable out?

anyone done this already?

i planned to do this when i was about to put carbs onto my 205. You can still get choke bits as i got a choke cable for my 309 a few weeks back. Shame i just scrapped it on friday there with the cable still on it! Didn't think i'd be able to sell it on so left it

probably not the best thing to do i know but i never had a choke cable on my webers and never had a problem starting or idling in the freezing cold

 

might of just been by luck but like i said never missed a beat in 3 odd years

at the moment they seem to need the chokes out for a bit to get it to idle so would be nice to not have to open the bonnet.
