Will This Simple/free Mod Work?

Recommended Posts

Cutting a rectangle shape out of the top of your std grill.

My thinking is that this will then provide a clear supply of air to the standard ducting pipe.

I did this on my old 205 and you cant even see its been done once the bonnet is shut.

The only down side is that you are likely to get more debris in your filter.

What do you reckon?

I drilled holes instead of cutting.

Seems to stop quite a few flys

Doesn't really make any difference IMO but I did this to my car long before I fitted an induction kit, just cut the plastic away where it blocked the intake.

Me too! (but not the bottle method) Although the effect is negligable.

The plastic air intake thing needs to be bigger and have more open space around it.
