Recommended Posts

I had two people in the back tonight, and it "RUBBED"!!!!

Does thet mean I need bigger bars? Better shocks? Whats the score??

Its a 1.6 beam

Depends, is the car on standard wheels and tyres?

Is it lowered at all?

Beam shagged?

Check where it rubbed, inner arches or arch trim?

If the wheels & suspension are standard all round I'd guess at it was possibly an early sign that yor rear beam is on its last legs. :D

Graham.

Graham, irs a 1600 on 1900 wheels, so it rubbed the outer arch, phew

Still, it seemed to load up quite easily

Rear rates aren't huge though, 180lbs/inch I think (or I'm getting mixed with front rates, but 2 ppl would be about a 2" extra drop)
