i trailered it over to torque technique for the exhaust to be hand made and to be mate'd upto the maniflow manifold

P1000746.jpg

Picture107.jpg

then went down to sandy's for a complete race loom for the whole car and mapping.

collected last week after mapping, it wouldn't grip in the rollers so no accurate power figures, but estimated 200@ the wheels...

trackday booked for combe on the 25th of this month

and a photo of when i was out testing at the weekend.

205rallye.jpg

will be raised up abit, also have 23mm peugeot sport torsion bars to fit somwhen

hope its been an intresting read.

just picked up a gti6 thermostat housing as looks like ive only got an 8v one which has the wrong outlets for the water pipes, also a clear bowl type header tank rather than the standard non see through black one. ive ordered some 3m carbon for the door bars to protect the paint and 2M of FIA roll cage padding for the area around my head (and passengers)

looking forward to getting a good bit done this weekend. Mrs will be chuffed no doubt haha.

Very nice, I was tempted to do something similar in a base model / rallye shell.

P.S I think I bought some steelies with 888's on quite a while back? :)

looked good when I saw it at Colins. Have you got a solution for the rad hose as it looked like it could be be damaged by your metal sheet.
