309 Engine Mount Position

having heard that some 309 shells were made with the engine mounting points in different positions, i decided to measure mine. the bolt is 370mm forward of the front edge of the bulkhead/scuttle panel and 260mm behind the back edge of the front crossmember.

 

can someone with an XU engined 309 get me these measurements to see what difference there is if any?

can't really tell much difference from the pics. mine looks more like the top one with the butresses around it and without that curved bit towards the front of the bottom pic.

the difference is quite obvious in the pics, the XU/later TU/talbot sits far closer to the suspension turret.

 

yours looks to be the right one.
