anyone know where to get such a device for dellerto carbs??

found one on ebay but its 80 anyone know anywhere cheaper?

ps have people just ran 2 cables through the original hole? is there any plus points to a double cable set up instead of single?

my bro in laws carb'd 8 valver runs an underneath cable linkage with a single cable and its not been a problem, but, i think it maybe something to do with the amount of linkages in the system that the single cable has to move. doubling up takes the strain away from a single cable system.

i would spend the money on a decent linkage kit though. the last thing you want is the throttle to stick wide open with no rev limiter due to carbs...... bang, engine spat a rod. you cry. :D

i run a set of twin 40 dellorto which have the top mounted linkage

i got mine from rally nuts

just paid 80 for the bottom mounted twin cable set up. from fastroadcars.co.uk

ahh I was about to recommend them, they're on ebay, based 2 miles away form me!

i read on a few forums saying they were good, so went with them. the .co.uk shop was 5 quid cheaper than their ebay one, weird.

fastroadcars rang me today and told me there is no linkage that will fit underneath dellorto carbs :lol: but i cut away the strengthening bar on the bonet and now it closes just!
