Wheel Bearing.

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct rear wheel bearing for a 1.9 gti?

Unsure of brand so don't know if it will be any good?! Alternatively does anyone have a link to some?

Need a pair but want to order online as they need to be delivered elsewhere!

Thanks

I would be wary of ordering GSF bearings online, their Vetech brand are crap, you are better going to the store and specifically asking for a branded bearing.

All the recent bearings I have fitted have been either Firstline or Premier packaging containing typically oem manufacturer bearings like SNR Timken and Koyo, no problems so far and reasonable on price.

Worth ringing dealers to see how much they'd be

Gives a rough idea of "quality" price-I was cheaper years ago buying skf from Peugeot rather than the bearing wholesalers?!?!?

Only the price of a phone call (once you've told the young oik what a 205 is)

Always amazes me how some bearings/driveshafts can be rubbish when you consider the massive tool up costs involved (you'd make it right wouldn't you?)

There are plenty on Ebay , just had a look and they start around £30 but tend to be unbranded , there are SKF bearings at around £55 inc p+p which are boxed as various aftermarket brands .Its worth paying the extra providing the seller sends you what is pictured in the ad - zoom in on the picture and look for SKF or 'made in France' marked on the race .There is a special turned spacer that goes between bearing and trailing arm , these rarely come in the kit so make sure yours are not damaged during removal .

ABS rear bearing/hubs look identical apart from the serrations but I am not sure if they will fit a non ABS car .
