D8 D9 Parts Interchangeability V6

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to use the D8 exhaust downpipes and manifold on a D9, mainly because I don't have the D9 complete parts and also because it will do away with the Cats.. does anybody know if it fits

Also Does anybody know if the cambelt covers are the same on the D8 and D9 v6?

Thankyou

D8 manifolds and downpipes will fit the D9 with no modifications.

Cambelt covers are different though.

Don't forget you need the 3 inch downpipe.

Clio v6 exhaust manifold and camshafts for that little bit more too.

D8 and D9 manifolds are different, however both front and rear D8 manifolds are the same.

exhaust manifold to head gaskets are the same so you can bolt them on though.

D8 camshafts in a D9 produces more power. Can't remember if that is just after a swap or a remap.

Might even be just one of the camshafts, been too long.

It'll be an option if the vvc doesn't work on aftermarket management.

I've got a funny feeling it's the exhaust cams that you put in as an inlet tho so that won't help

yeah the belt is the same, there's two different tensioners and three water pumps iirc.
