Been to sort out my dimma yesterday to get ready for the sprayer.

 

I stripped everything from the car, no bolts, grommets or clips were left so when it comes back it will have a full set of genuine new parts.

 

we took the car last night to the sprayer who said he will have it done by the second week in december

it is being painted in 2-pac, with all the rust, dents and everything else painted. £1400

try getting 1.6 gti backing plates for the rear drums. they can get em but its a right hastle. they are actually bendix but look like girlings.

from experience it's the 309 gtis that are harder to get parts for :huh: can i buggery get hold of a new rubber spoiler for the phase 1.

 

according to main dealer, 'not yet available'

 

the 205 is a more popular car in my opinion, so plastics, rubbers, switches, basically anything you need for a 205, is available

Just been to the painters and i am very pleased with the progress.

 

He has repaired every last bit of rust and all dents and it is so smooth its unreal

 

Its having its base coat tomorrow

Subframe/roll bar/1.9 hubs and rear brakes are going to the power coaters tomorrow

New rack, droplinks, rod ends,roll bar bushes, all bolts for subframe/wishbones/hub ect
