a quick google translation for the benefit to those of use that struggle with our native language let alone understand those across the water

"Hi, I'm French and this is my 205 GTI 1.9 in the course of restoration, it is a 1989 with an engine DKZ, I have mounted on a gearbox BE3 / 5 (2.0l16v Xantia ) with Quaife ATB 14/62 final drive and a complete stainless steel exhaust, flexible silicone Venair, a home made air box (carbon and green filter), Mocal oil cooler, fuel hose stainless steel regulator ESF ...

but this is not the end, I have yet to mount the cam, GAS shocks complete kit ...

Here are some pictures, and sorry for my English."

Nice to see a home grown 205 on these pages.

The airbox looks good, will it need a feed via the bonnet?

If only our washer bottles were on the other side.

get shot of the jack and that space could accomodate a bespoke bottle?

you could store the jack under the passenger seat like in the cti's.

Jack, mine didn't come with one, instead it came with some very continental sounding air horns in the space instead.

My battery is now in the boot so i do have some extra space for an airbox project.

sorry, I'd write in English but my automatic translator transforms it into French

its a rear washer bottle of 309 gti that I have mounted in place of the jack, and i've removed the original washer bottle for mount the air box

That is a great idea!

filter looks much better in that position than the 'standard' K&N position...

Loving the oil filler on top of the rocker cover, why have i never seen that before?, gets rid of the stupid filler bottle and an few hoses that get blocked with gung in the winter.

well done for some new ideas

this one is for sale, because for the next one, I built this with a screw cap and an AN-6 fitting welding (to get my oil line from oil catch tank)
