I believe you can just mod the back of the rev counter with a wire where the white is on this diagram

Otherwise I think Spoox sell a "module"

that mod above doesnt work quite that easy, you need to then cut or disconnect a track on the board, but i cant remember which, ill have a look for my diagram though!

The mod won't work in that way afaik because you need to disconnect the original input from the circuit board or you are putting mixed signals into the rev counter imo.

That mod is correct in that it bypasses the input filter, sending the signal directly into the chip. However, you will only read half rpm unless you add the coil packs together. Thus Spiky.

Slight off topic, but having seen the Spox box this connect's to the ECU rev counter out, anyone know how this is done? as it would be a very quick fit

its connected to the coil or ignition amp trigger wires not the ecu-rev counter wire, but yeah very easy to fit.

as welshpug has said, the VSS is not used to get the rev counter working with a turbo conversion

please see my post in Discount section,on what is needed,

speedo is as standard and just use OE cable

Would this mod work if my tachometer is reading half of what it should be? Or is the tacho feed wired to the wrong place? Xu10j2te
