People are sensitive about sharing maps around here.

Just search the megasquirt forums for a 2 litre Zetec map and off you go.

I've been where you are now and also offered to pay for a basemap but with no luck :).

Build your ignition map based on this:

Peter+Mi16+ignition+table.jpg

Your VE table should look like this as a shape, but the values will be totally useless:

Peter+Mi16+fuel+map.jpg

TDC after trigger will need to be 114.5 Deg if you are using the default flywheel sensor. This should get you started.

When using TPS, consider that vacuum, i.e. -80kPa will be 0% TPS and 0kPa (atmospheric) is 100% TPS, but be careful because it's not linear.

Use a wideband to build your VE.

Use Google to search the forum for anything else: "mi16 ignition table site:forum.205gtidrivers.com". Must have spent 4 hours searching for the above 2 maps when I needed them.

Megasquirt is not commonly used on here, and its not clever using an unmapped engine on the road.

Well no one shares maps of any kind.

You can also message andy0075 on here. He runs Megasquirt on his 205 race car. This is his website: http://www.peugeot-racing.at.tf/

They're my maps! Do you want VE versions? Please donate $10 to this forum, if so.

I'v

That doesn't make sense. TPS is non-linear. Vacuum is linear. The fuel map above is doing load sensing via vacuum (MAP). Values are in ms. It's actually a very rough one. Idle would be approx. -60kPa @ 1000rpm. Full load is 0kPa (WOT) at approx 5000rpm. A difference in injector time of approx. 2.6 times.

If you want to use that map to drive to the dyno, retard the ignition to be safe; if the fuel is off, it's more sensitive to knock...

Sorry Peter, since you shared those maps on the forum some years ago I assumed it was OK to share them now. I can take them down if you want.

What I meant was that airflow with TPS is not linear, just so that he wouldn't try to copy the MAP values into a TPS table.

Peter, would you share a map for your stage 2 inlet on bodies? I've been a good boy and have donated. :)

No problems, leave them there. The fuel is a bit dodgy but the ignition is ok. Happy to share better maps with donors.
