Slam Panel Caged Stud Alternative

So I am having to replace the orginal rad on my cti. As you can imagine all the nuts on the slam panel and body are siezed. I don't think they have ever been undone. So I Have snapped the studs that hold the front of the slam panel on. These are the caged M6 studs shown here:

 

 

I wondered if anyone knows if I can replace them with these caged nuts below as the studs shown are NFP.

can't see any issue using a nut instead of a stud, though you may find the studs aftermarket instead of through a dealer? or on another vehicle in better condition.

Thats not a bad shout - didn't think about look for aftermarket studs. I'll see if I can find something!
