Standard Throttle Body

Recommended Posts

Afternoon all,

After some help please...

Can anyone tell me what way the hoses go on the bottom of the throttle body on my 1.9 GTI?

Also, I have 3 legs sticking out the bottom but only seem to have 2 hoses?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

I'd just connect the VAC up and leave the water ones off, Down here it never gets cold to ice the TB plus the heat of the rad it's not needed

Thanks guys!

I read that I should connect the water pipe from the header tank to the thermostat. And get rid of the other pipe.

Is that right?

Yes, that's how I've had mine connected up for years now.
