It feels like it's running on 3, then from about 2000 rpm upwards it runs fine. Dizzy arm?

Thanks

Worth checking the injector plugs. In fact ht leads, spark plugs, coil, dizzy and ignition amp leads. But I would definitely wiggle the injectors and their plugs as a first step. If it is running on 3, pulling an injector connection one by one can narrow down which cylinder isn't behaving

All the above, rotor arms are virtually pence to replace so may aswell. Could the timing be out? Does it idle ok?

sounds like a lean or rich mixture, I doubt its ignition system given it clears with more load, Ignition faults tend to break down more under load.

Hi and thanks for replies. Do you lean it down by turning screw right?

on the airflow meter yes, anti vlockwise for less fuel, clockwise for more.

Didn't seem to help. As soon as it's off auto choke the chugging starts.

there's no choke on them, unless you have a carb.

Found my problem. I had a nice pool of oil/water in no.4 plug recess. Could be ominous I guess..
